Jacobs first began acting lessons at the age of 8 and continued to take Saturday classes at Pittsburgh Playhouse. Mt. Lebanon High School 2000 Jacobs was able to move into New York City New York for a place at in the Juilliard School where she was part of the Drama Division's Group 33. She earned a bachelor's degree in 2004, after graduating at Lebanon High School.
